Our founder, Tyson Knight, carries forward a tradition that began in the early 1900s, when his great-grandfather constructed wells while walking stock through Northern Australia. Those early lessons in resilience and resourcefulness continue to shape how we approach every challenge today.

With over two decades in the mining industry, Tyson and Rhys have worked alongside some of the most respected names in the field, gaining firsthand experience in structural, mechanical, and piping solutions. This foundation led to the creation of DTL—where we don’t just execute projects, we forge lasting partnerships built on trust, integrity, and mutual respect.
